Refund policy

Damaged, defective, or incorrect items

Please inspect your delivery promptly. If anything arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, email breakaplateca@gmail.com, preferably within 7 days of delivery, with:

  • Your order number.
  • Photos of the outer carton, shipping label, packaging, and affected plates.
  • The number of plates affected.

Please keep the packaging and damaged items, if safe to do so, while we review your claim. Do not return broken gypsum plates unless we provide safe return instructions.

For confirmed transit damage, defective products, or items sent incorrectly, we’ll arrange an appropriate replacement or refund. We’ll cover any necessary replacement delivery or return shipping.

The suggested seven-day reporting period does not limit your statutory rights.

Change-of-mind returns

Request a return through your customer account or contact us within 14 days after the last item in your order is delivered, then send the goods back within a further 14 days. If the last day of the request window falls on a weekend or holiday, the request window extends to the next business day.

Returned plates must be unused, intact, and securely packaged, preferably in their original packaging. Customers pay change-of-mind return shipping. Used or intentionally broken plates are not eligible under our voluntary return policy.

Contact us before returning anything so we can provide the correct return address and instructions.

Refunds

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. For eligible cancellations, we refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or valid proof of return, whichever comes first. Standard outbound delivery is refunded where required by law.

Nothing in this policy excludes mandatory cancellation rights or remedies for faulty, damaged, or incorrectly described goods.

Cancellation requests

You can request cancellation of unfulfilled items through your customer account until those items are fulfilled. Contact us promptly if you need help with an order that has already been fulfilled. These request settings do not limit any mandatory cancellation or withdrawal rights.
